Uptimehub

How it works

Uptime monitoring, up and running in minutes

Add a URL or endpoint, and Uptimehub checks it every minute from 6 global regions, confirms a failure with auto-retry, alerts you in seconds, and updates your branded status page on its own. Here is exactly what happens at every step.

In one paragraph

Uptimehub monitors your websites, APIs and services by checking them from the outside, exactly as a real visitor would, every minute from 6 global regions. When a check fails, it retries automatically from the other regions to confirm the outage is real before it ever wakes you, then alerts you in seconds through Slack, email, SMS or webhook with the region, the error and how long you have been down. The same monitors auto-power a branded public status page on your own domain with 90-day uptime history. Every check runs read-only from the outside, so there is no agent to install and nothing that ever touches your servers.

01

Add a URL or endpoint

Paste a website, API endpoint, TCP port or cron heartbeat URL and pick a check type: HTTP, ping, port, SSL, DNS, keyword or cron. There is no agent to install and no code to deploy, because every check runs read-only from the outside. Most teams are monitoring in under two minutes.

  • No agent, no code to deploy
  • HTTP, ping, port, SSL, DNS, keyword, cron
  • Live in under two minutes
02

We check it from 6 global regions

Uptimehub checks your target every minute (every 30 seconds on Pro and above) from 6 global regions. If one region sees a failure, we retry from the others to confirm it is real before we ever page you, so a regional network blip does not turn into a false 3am alert. Multi-region and auto-retry are on by default, not an upsell.

  • 6 global regions, every minute
  • Auto-retry confirms before alerting
  • On by default, never an upsell
03

You get alerted in seconds

The moment a check confirms your service is down, an alert routes to Slack, email, SMS, webhook, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Telegram or a PagerDuty-style on-call flow, with the region, the error and how long it has been down. You pick the channels per monitor and per escalation step, so the right person hears it first.

  • Alerts in seconds, not minutes
  • Slack, email, SMS, webhook and more
  • Per-monitor escalation routing
04

Your status page updates itself

Your monitors auto-power a branded public status page on your own domain, with your logo and colors and 90-day uptime history. It reflects the incident automatically and logs it, so your users see a status page they can trust instead of flooding your inbox. The status page is included in every plan, not a separate paid module.

  • Branded page on your own domain
  • 90-day public uptime history
  • Included in every plan
// READ-ONLY

The guardrail

Read-only external checks, on purpose

We check your sites, APIs and services from the outside, exactly as a real visitor would. We never install an agent, never need credentials to your systems, and never touch your servers.

Nothing to install

You paste a URL or endpoint and you are monitoring. There is no agent, no sidecar and no code to deploy for HTTP, API, ping, port, SSL and DNS checks. Cron and heartbeat jobs simply ping a URL when they finish.

We never touch your servers

Every check runs read-only from the outside, the same way your customers reach you. Uptimehub needs no credentials to your systems and cannot change anything on your side. It is an observer, not an actor.

Encrypted and revocable

Traffic is encrypted in transit and at rest, we store only the check results and timings needed to show uptime and alert you, and you can remove any monitor at any time. See our security posture for the detail.
