Oh Dear pricing: all 9 plans in US dollars, cost per site and your bill
Oh Dear charges by the number of sites and servers, with every feature on every plan. Enter your estate and the calculator finds the plan you land on, what each site really costs once you count the empty slots, and the same estate on a flat per-monitor plan.
Oh Dear cost calculator
LiveUS dollar list read from ohdear.app/pricing. Annual totals are shown per month. Oh Dear counts sites and servers against one allowance, so both inputs use the same slots.
How much does Oh Dear cost?
Oh Dear costs $17 a month for 2 sites on its smallest plan and $439 a month for 200 sites on its largest, in US dollars. There are nine published plans and every one carries the same features; the only thing that changes is how many sites and servers you can monitor. Annual billing is exactly ten times the monthly price, so it saves 16.7%. The most common size, 10 sites, is $55 a month or $550 a year.
It is one of the simplest models in the market, and that is its strength. There is no feature gate, no seat charge and no separate status page product, so the bill depends on one number. The cost of that simplicity sits in the gaps between plans. With only nine sizes between 2 and 200 sites, most accounts pay for slots they are not using, and the jump from one plan to the next can nearly double the invoice.

Oh Dear plans: all nine tiers in US dollars
The pricing page shows three featured cards and a compact table, and outside the US it shows euros. This is the full US dollar list with the cost per site worked out for both billing modes. The per site column assumes the plan is full, which is the best case.

What a site includes
Uptime checked every minute, SSL every 30 minutes, performance every 15, DNS every two hours and a broken link crawl once a day, plus Lighthouse, sitemap, domain expiry and blocklist checks. That is a lot more than one uptime check, and it is why the per site price is higher than a per check price elsewhere.
What every plan includes
Unlimited users, single sign-on, two-factor, status pages, monthly client reports, the full API and every notification channel. Oh Dear is explicit that none of these sit behind a higher tier, which is rarer than it should be.
Servers share the allowance
Each plan is sized in "sites and servers". A server you watch with ping or a TCP port check uses a slot just like a website does, so an agency that also watches its own mail and database hosts should count those in.
Oh Dear cost per site, and the 11th site that nearly doubles the bill
Nine plans across a range of 2 to 200 sites means big gaps. The 10 site Freelance plan is $55 a month. Add one more site and the only plan that fits is Studio at $109, so the 11th site costs $54 a month on its own and the invoice rises 98%. The 3rd site does almost the same thing on a smaller scale: $17 becomes $32.
| The site that triggers the upgrade | Monthly bill goes | Increase | Per added slot |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3rd site | $17 to $32 | 88% | $5.00 |
| 6th site | $32 to $55 | 72% | $4.60 |
| 11th site | $55 to $109 | 98% | $3.60 |
| 26th site | $109 to $165 | 51% | $2.24 |
| 51st site | $165 to $219 | 33% | $2.16 |
| 76th site | $219 to $275 | 26% | $2.24 |
| 101st site | $275 to $365 | 33% | $1.80 |
| 151st site | $365 to $439 | 20% | $1.48 |
From 25 to 100 sites it is one flat rate
In euros, each of the three steps between 25 and 100 sites costs exactly 50 euros for 25 more sites, or 2 euros a site. The US dollar list is not a straight currency conversion (the ratio moves between 1.10 and 1.13 by plan), yet it lands on $2.16 to $2.24 per added site across the same three steps. So once you are past 25 sites, growth is priced almost linearly until 100.
The best-case price assumes a full plan
The 50 site plan works out to $3.30 a site a month, but only with 50 sites on it. With 26 sites, the fewest that need that plan, you pay $6.35 a site. Before you compare Oh Dear with anything priced per check or per monitor, divide by the sites you actually have, not the plan size.
Oh Dear annual discount, dollars against euros, and the old prices still quoted
The annual price on every plan is exactly ten times the monthly price. Oh Dear calls it two months free, and that is precisely a 16.7% saving. It is a clean rule with no exceptions across the nine plans, so the decision is simple: if you expect to keep the account a year, annual saves you the price of two months at whatever size you are.
The currency matters for anyone reading a summary. Oh Dear is a Belgian company and its pricing page shows euros, ex VAT, to visitors outside the US. The US dollar list sits beside it in the same page and runs 10% to 13% higher figure for figure. A US buyer who reads "49 euros for 10 sites" and budgets $49 is $6 a month short.
If you see these numbers, they are out of date or in the wrong currency
| Figure quoted in summaries | What the pricing page says today |
|---|---|
| $17 for 10 sites, $34 for 25, $59 for 100 | $17 for 2 sites; 10 sites $55, 25 sites $109, 100 sites $275 |
| 15 euros a month for 5 sites | 15 euros buys 2 sites; 5 sites is 29 euros or $32 |
| 49 a month for 50 sites | 49 euros is the 10 site plan; 50 sites is $165 |
| About 20% off with annual billing | 16.7% on every plan (annual is 10x monthly) |
The first row matters most. A comparison built on it understates an Oh Dear bill by more than three times at 10 sites and nearly five times at 100.
When Oh Dear is worth the money, and when a per-monitor plan is
Oh Dear is the better buy when you use what each site slot carries. A daily crawl for broken links and mixed content, Lighthouse scores, sitemap validation, DNS blocklist checks and a branded monthly report per client are real work that a plain uptime monitor does not do. Web agencies that send clients a monthly health report get a lot for $3 to $5 a site, and no seat charge however big the team gets.
The numbers turn when what you need is availability: is the site up, is the API returning the right body, is the certificate valid, did the nightly job run, and a status page to point customers at. Then you are paying for a crawler and a Lighthouse runner you will not open. A per-monitor plan charges for the checks alone.
| Monthly billing, one uptime monitor per site | Oh Dear | UptimeHub |
|---|---|---|
| 10 sites | $55 (Freelance) | $12 on Starter, room for 20 |
| 25 sites | $109 (Studio) | $39 on Pro, room for 100 |
| 100 sites | $275 (Portfolio) | $39 on Pro |
| 200 sites | $439 (Scale) | $99 on Business, room for 400 |
| Broken links, Lighthouse, sitemap, client reports | Included on every plan | No, we do not run these |
| Uptime interval | 1 minute | 1 minute on Starter, 30 seconds on Pro and Business |
| Status pages | On every plan | 1 on Starter, 10 on Pro, 40 on Business |
A fair reading: at 10 sites the gap is $43 a month, and that $43 buys the crawler, Lighthouse and client reports. If you would pay for those anyway, Oh Dear is good value. If you would not, UptimeHub checks sites, APIs, ports, SSL and domain expiry from six regions with auto-retry, asserts on the response body, runs cron heartbeats, and includes branded status pages, priced per monitor. DNS record checks come with Pro and Business.
Where these numbers come from, and what is not claimed
Every price comes from ohdear.app/pricing. The page carries two machine-readable price lists, one in euros and one in US dollars, each with a monthly and a yearly price for all nine plans. The rendered cards match the euro list exactly (49, 99 and 149 euros for the three featured plans, 490, 990 and 1,490 on the yearly toggle), which confirms the lists are the ones the page sells from.
The check frequencies come from Oh Dear's own FAQ on how often checks run. The SMS detail comes from its notification docs, which ask for a Vonage API key and secret. The trial, the money-back guarantee, unlimited users and single sign-on on every plan are quoted from the pricing page.
Not claimed: how sales tax or VAT applies to a US account, how many status pages a plan allows, how scheduled tasks count against the site allowance, and any Enterprise price above 200 sites.
Oh Dear pricing questions
How much does Oh Dear cost?
Oh Dear costs $17 a month for 2 sites up to $439 a month for 200 sites, across nine plans in US dollars. Billed annually each plan costs ten times its monthly price, so 10 sites is $55 a month or $550 a year. Above 200 sites Oh Dear quotes Enterprise pricing on request.
How does Oh Dear pricing work?
You pay for the number of sites and servers you monitor, and nothing else. Every plan includes every feature: uptime, SSL, broken links, Lighthouse and performance, DNS, domain expiry, cron, status pages, SSO, two-factor and unlimited users. Moving up a plan only raises the site allowance.
Does Oh Dear have a free plan?
No. Oh Dear has a 10-day trial with every feature and no card required, then a paid plan from $17 a month. New customers also get a 30-day money-back guarantee according to the pricing page, so the effective risk window is longer than the trial.
Is Oh Dear priced in dollars or euros?
Both. Oh Dear is based in Belgium and the pricing page shows euros to visitors it places outside the US, ex VAT. The same page publishes a US dollar price list, where each plan is 10% to 13% above the euro figure: 10 sites is 49 euros or $55, 100 sites is 249 euros or $275.
How much do you save with Oh Dear annual billing?
Exactly 16.7%. The yearly price on all nine plans is ten times the monthly price, which Oh Dear describes as two months free. Summaries that say about 20% are rounding up. On the 10 site plan that is $550 a year instead of $660, a saving of $110.
What does Oh Dear cost per site?
From $8.50 a site a month on the 2 site plan down to about $2.20 on the 200 site plan, billed monthly. On annual billing the range is $7.08 down to $1.83. The per site price only falls if you fill the plan; a 26 site account on the 50 site plan pays $6.35 a site.
What happens when you go over your Oh Dear site limit?
You move to the next plan, and the steps are large. The 11th site takes you from $55 to $109 a month, an increase of 98% for one site. The 26th site adds $56 and the 51st adds $54. Plan changes are prorated, so you pay the difference from the day you upgrade.
Why do some sites say Oh Dear costs $17 for 10 sites?
That is an older price list. Search summaries still quote $17 for 10 sites, $34 for 25 and $59 for 100. On today's US dollar list $17 buys 2 sites, 10 sites is $55, 25 is $109 and 100 is $275. If a comparison uses the old figures it understates the bill by three to five times.
Does Oh Dear include SMS alerts?
SMS is one of the notification channels on every plan, but Oh Dear sends it through your own Vonage account: its documentation asks for a Vonage API key and secret. So the SMS messages themselves are billed by Vonage, not included in the Oh Dear price. Email, Slack and webhooks carry no extra cost.
Is Oh Dear worth it?
It is worth it if you want the broken link crawler, Lighthouse scores, sitemap checks and branded monthly client reports, because every plan bundles them. If you mainly need uptime, API, SSL and cron checks with a status page, a per monitor plan is cheaper: 25 sites is $109 a month on Oh Dear and $39 on UptimeHub Pro.
Pay for the checks you use, not for plan-sized gaps
UptimeHub checks your sites, APIs and ports from six regions with auto-retry, watches SSL and domain expiry, runs cron heartbeats, and includes branded status pages. Priced per monitor with plenty of headroom per plan, so the 11th site never doubles the invoice.
